The Day Angler 21, designed by Arthur Mursell, was launched in 1994 and was a natural progression for this range as it was easily trailed and moved around the country to explore new fishing grounds. The success of this model was hugely underestimated and at it's launch at the London International Boat Show, 17 boats were ordered at the show followed by another 15 at a subsequent demonstration weekend. Orkney were soon building two of these models a week and this continued for most of its production run.
Built: 1994 for the Southampton boat show to promote the whisky Te Bheag which is distilled on Skye. It was later launched in 2003 on Loch Tay where it stayed (fresh water ) till the last three seasons where it has been at Gairloch

Founded by Jim Dodds in 1969 and later expanded by Jim Hogan, Caley Marina in Inverness transformed the Caledonian Canal into a hub for Scotland’s tourism. Initially named Loch Ness Marine, it evolved under Hogan’s stewardship to include Caley Cruisers, enhancing accessibility to Loch Ness. Today, managed by successive generations, Caley Marina offers comprehensive boat services, pioneering environmental technologies, and operates a top-rated marina awarded Best Small Marina in Britain in 2018.
