DESCRIPTION

Overview

The FC 53 was specifically designed to embark on a solo circumnavigation while also providing a comfortable cruising interior for offshore living and cruising. This remarkable vessel has achieved incredible success in racing, especially in the Northeast region, taking part in various single-handed races to Newport-Bermuda and double-handed events.

Overseen by the meticulous and skilled team at Finot Conq, KIWI SPIRIT II was born out of a passion for excellence and sailing desire. This cruising and racing sailboat was explicitly designed for those who seek unrivaled performance at sea along with the comfort and aesthetics of a modern sailing yacht. Its ability to seamlessly meet the demands of both cruising and racing sets it apart as a truly unique vessel in its class.

On the interior, KIWI SPIRIT II does not fail to deliver on comforts. Her spacious and tastefully designed saloon offers an inviting space for relaxation and entertainment. She comes equipped with a fully stocked galley, allowing for ease in meal preparations whether at port or out in the open seas. The yacht's intelligent design makes the most out of every square inch available, providing ample storage areas even with its sporting layout.

Key Features

• Fast cruiser racer

• Configuration for single-handed sailing, if desired

• Fully finished with a cruising interior

• Spacious cockpit with hard carbon fiber dodger

Walkthrough

Upon entering from the spacious cockpit you descend into the salon. Positioned to port is the galley, followed by the head located directly behind it. Moving aft, you will find the workshop and electrical cabinets.

Another complete head and stall shower can be found on the starboard side, with a guest cabin located aft featuring single berths that can be converted into a double berth with the use of a filler. The engine compartment is situated between this cabin and the workshop on the port side.

The spacious salon is forward featuring a dinette on the port side and a couch on the starboard side. Continuing forward, you will find the master cabin with a double berth on the port side and a hanging locker on the starboard side. Further ahead, there is storage space and a watertight door leading to the forepeak for storing sails and lines.

Salon

Upon entering the full beam salon from the cockpit, you will find a U-shaped dinette with a spacious dining table located to the port side. On the starboard side, there is a couch, with the navigation table situated directly behind it. KIWI SPIRIT II can comfortably seat up to six guests in its beautifully crafted and inviting salon space. The salon is flooded with abundant natural light from portlights in the hull which enhance the sense of openness. Additionally, carbon fiber storm covers are available for the windows to ensure offshore protection.

Galley

Located directly behind the salon, the galley is equipped with an electric two burner induction stove top, a Bomann oven, a stainless-steel double sink, a top loading Isotherm fridge freezer, and plenty of storage space in the five outboard cupboards for extended cruising trips.

Guest Stateroom

The guest cabin is situated on the starboard side of the navigation area. It features two single berths that can transform into a double berth with the use of a filler piece. With its own ensuite bathroom and shower, this cabin provides a private space for guests while also serving as a common day head accessible from the main salon. The shower is separate and enclosed in its own stall for added convenience. Furthermore, an emergency exit hatch can be found at the aft section of this cabin.

Owner's Stateroom

Forward of the salon is the owner's stateroom, where you will find a comfortable double berth with a fan and reading lamps on the bulkhead. This stateroom boasts generous port and starboard hull ports, allowing ample natural light to flood the cabin. Additionally, a sizable overhead hatch enhances the cabin's illumination and ventilation. On the port side, there are five spacious lockers and two large drawers beneath the berth. To starboard, you will find four more substantial drawers, a hanging closet, and a compact workspace.

Forward Workroom

Forward of the owner’s stateroom is a storage area with lockers both port and starboard with canvas covers to enable storage of lines, spare parts, and other necessary equipment.

Bow/Sail Locker

Forward of the workroom is the storage area for sails, spare lines, and halyards. This space is equipped with a watertight door that can be closed in the event of flooding. Additionally, a deck hatch not only allows entry from the outside but also ensures ample natural light and ventilation.
