English

The Pacific Seacraft 32 PH is a heavily built Pilot House cruising yacht designed by Bill Crealock for serious offshore sailing. This excellent example has been maintained to a high standard since new and her present owner, a retired aeronautical engineer, has upgraded and improved the vessel and has presented her for sale in 'ocean-ready' condition. Pilot house cruisers of this size are difficult to find and rarer still in such excellent condition, so don't hesitate to come and have a look.

Viewing by appointment through our Suffolk Office.

Accommodation

The accommodation is laid out for a couple to cruise in comfort, with a versatile layout that allows additional guests if required. Attractively finished with a wealth of solid teak joinery, there is full standing headroom throughout, excellent ventilation and the generous stowage expected in a serious offshore cruiser. In the forecabin, good sized V berth with opening hatch to foredeck. Four opening portlights. Hanging locker, drawers and good general stowage. Occasional seat to port. The separate heads compartment is to starboard with marine toilet, shower and washbasin. New shower tray pump 2023. Holding tank with macerator pump (2023). Opening portlight. Galley opposite. Two burner Force 10 gimballed gas cooker and oven. Gas bottle locker in cockpit with stowage for two bottles, regulator for Propane or Butane and a remote solenoid shut-off valve. Twin stainless steel sinks. Hot and cold pressurised water supply, hot water heated by the engine or by immersion heater when connected to shorepower. Water filter. 300 litre freshwater capacity in two tanks. Manual back up footpump and seawater supply. Katadyn Survivor 35 watermaker with manual pump. Refrigerator/freezer. Opening portlight. Good sized worktop and general stowage. The galley is a secure place to work at sea but also has a safety strap for severe conditions. Custom built drawer for cutlery, crockery and glasses. Step up to the pilot house with interior helm position to starboard. The engine is mounted under the cabin sole with excellent access for maintenance. The pilot house allows 360 degree vision whilst at sea but has blinds and curtains for privacy in port. The helm position has full engine and navigation instrumentation. Behind the helm is a quarter berth and the dinette is opposite, which can be converted to a cosy double berth. The saloon table doubles as a chart table at sea. Two steps up to the cockpit make access particularly easy and for inclement conditions there is a washboard and heavy duty companionway door. The cockpit is deep, safe and comfortable with all lines led aft for easy sail handling. The cockpit boasts oversize cockpit drains. There is a set of cockpit cushions, a cockpit table and two pushpit seats. The stainless steel boarding ladder allows access from the stern and there are gates in the lifelines both sides for easy access whilst alongside. The stanchions are oversize, so with deep bulwarks and plenty of handrails the deck feels secure even in the worst conditions. Eberspacher diesel fired hot air central heating with outlets in saloon, galley and forecabin. LED lighting throughout. Clarion radio/CD player. When away from land, the solar panels and wind generator keep all systems running making the boat autonomous from a shorepower supply.

Additional Comments

The present owners bought Tourmaline in 2007, since when they have cruised around the UK, over to France, South Brittany, Northern Spain and Denmark. During their tenure they have maintained the boat to a very high standard with a rigorous programme of regular inspection and replacement and upgrading being undertaken as required. The boat is ready for another season's sailing and is now only on the market due to a change of circumstances.

Tourmaline is presented for sale in genuine ready-to-sail condition. As the owners are retiring from sailing she comes with a very complete inventory with includes all equipment and gear aboard needed for extended cruising. A rare opportunity to own such a fine and well prepared vessel.

The company normally acts as brokers for the vendor who unless otherwise stated is not selling in the course of a business. Whilst every care has been taken in the preparation of these particulars the correctness is not guaranteed and they are intended as a guide only and do not constitute a part of any contract. A prospective buyer is strongly advised to check these particulars and where appropriate and at his own expense to employ a qualified marine surveyor to carry out a survey and/or to have an engine trial conducted which if conducted by us shall not imply any liability on our part.

General note on safety equipment: Any safety equipment such as liferaft, fire extinguishers and flares etc., are usually personal to the current owner(s) and if being left on board as part of the sale of a used vessel, may require routine servicing, replacement, or changing to meet a new owner’s specific needs.
