Owners Comments
This is a reluctant sale as we are leaving behind very many happy memories of sailing onboard this beautiful classic ketch. She is a lovely cruise sailing yacht, solid, study and safe.
This beautiful yacht is a delight to be onboard. Quaint and classic with many traditional features (e.g. original winches, china crockery, flag-pole and Red Ensign and traditional internal light fittings), she's incredibly easy to 'get to know' as her water and electricity systems are easy to access, fiddle with and follow throughout the boat.
She's very well equipped and well organised and comes from a line of caring owners who have all spent considerable sums of money in maintaining her and kitting her out. There is nothing more you need to buy to sail happily, safely and extensively in her. Really, everything you need is onboard.
To her credit, she has very clean bilges and a very clean heads (having been owned by a female for the last 5 years)!
This beautiful yacht is in stonking good condition for a boat of her age, and is solid, reliable and absolutely sea-worthy. You will find that all the major areas of expense have been covered recently.
The only things left on my list of 'things to do' now, are a quick overall sanding and varnish (missed it this year).
My daughter and I have sailed this beautiful yacht together, since my daughter was 11 years old, so she's really easy to sail with 1 adult and 1 child, although we have also sailed happily with up to 6 people and the dog onboard.
We have squeezed 11 Knots from her a few years back in the 'Round the Island' race and she is race coded by the Island Sailing Club (ISC) in Cowes.
