Restoration Details

In June 2006, Giordano Fabiani purchased the yacht and initiated a meticulous restoration project aimed at preserving the elegance of the original boat. The restoration began in the summer of 2006 at the Tevere Shipyard in Fiumicino, managed by the ETA company, which specializes in the refitting of old yachts and tugboats.

• The yacht has been restored in the structural parts of the hull, superstructures, and deck.
• The engine room, on-board systems (electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning), crew rooms, and all electronic and navigation instrumentation have been completely redesigned and renovated.

Interior Design

The redesign of the interiors was handled by Castagna di Erba, which successfully combined an elegant and refined modern style in the choice of materials and colors. The interior features:

• White wood paneling covering the interior walls, enhancing natural brightness.
• Floors and furnishings made of matt Burma teak, a precious Indian wood.
• A large living room and dining room on the first deck with essential furnishings chosen for design and functionality.

Accommodation

The division of the owner's and guest areas has remained unchanged. PAOLUCCI can accommodate up to 10 people in:

• 1 master cabin
• 3 double VIP cabins
• 1 guest cabin with 2 single beds

All cabins are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and a B&O audio video system.

Outdoor Living Spaces

Great attention has been paid to outdoor living spaces, featuring:

• Two sun decks: one in the bow and one on the flybridge of 80 square meters.
• Special sofas with draining padding and cushions for relaxation.

Helm Station

The helm station, located above the first deck, is covered with dark wood and leather paneling. An external helm station is available on the upper deck.

Hull and Construction

The hull is entirely made of wood with triple crossed mahogany planking, covered with a stucco jacket and painted matte gray. Giordano Fabiani stated, "It was an exciting challenge, the transformation entailed, the renovation of the interiors and a major restoration of the structural part of the yacht, but the most difficult task was to maintain the unrepeatable original elegance with the addition of modern technical and architectural details. I am satisfied to have restored the ancient splendor of PAOLUCCI and to have transformed it into a luxury yacht."
