General specification
Spirit has been fitted with a host of extras including a forward cuddy offering sheltered seating from the elements, extended seating to provide additional space and make entering and exiting from midships far easier, extra teak trim, dual helm positions, and a bathing ladder. They offer a stable sea-kindly platform perfect for day cruising, fishing, and generally enjoying being afloat, so despite their seagoing nature, they are just as popular for use on rivers.

In insulated GRP moulded engine box, Beta 20hp three-cylinder diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Dual station single lever controls with electric start. Aft mounted fuel tank with 45L capacity. Shaftdrive with Tides Marine dripless seal to bronze three-bladed propeller.

Construction
Plymouth Pilot 18 built in 2013 to their own design. Blue GRP hull (copper coated from new), with white superstructure, and grey cockpit sole with non-slip surface. Wheel and tiller (removable) steering to transom hung solid Iroko rudder. Teak rubbing strakes. Teak laid seating and engine box top.
Additional Equipment
- SBS R2/1500B galvanised braked road trailer with flushing kit, spare wheel, and bracket (new 2017 and never used in salt water)
