The current owner has put a small fortune into the refit, maintenance and upgrades that make “BONKERS” an extremely special vessel. She is unlike other 1998, her interior was completely redone in 2017/2018 by the Fort Lauderdale base IK Yacht Design firm. Many other upgrades to keep her quality craftsmanship up to date include, fresh paint, new teak decks, updated touch screen Garmin electronics, the list goes on. The 1998 Queenship 64 Motor Yacht features a 3 stateroom, 2 head layout with crew berth and additional head aft. “BONKERS” is well laid out to be a couples/family cruiser, owner operator or liveaboard vessel. TheQueenship must be seen to be fully appreciated. Below please find a summary of some of the highlights, upgrades and customizations found on board……..
TheQueenship “BONKERS” can be easily boarded via her oversized swim platform. Not many boats feature a platform this large. This platform is the perfect launching port for a whole host of watersports activities. Diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, you name it and BONKERS can accommodate. Standing on the platform you have a watertight door center line that will lead below to crew accommodations and engine room. She features a Euro style transom with dual stairwells and safety gates on either side leading up to the aft deck.
The expansive aft deck looks gorgeous with a new teak deck added in 2018. She features split forward-facing seating with a Corian tabletop. From here you can access the interior through two sliding panoramic doors, take the starboard side ladder up the fly bridge or transit the bow by her modified walk around side decks. Her functionality is perfect as both a couple’s cruiser and a crewed vessel. Additional aft deck highlights include….
Entering the main salon from the aft deck you are instantly stuck by her cleanliness, beautiful high gloss teak woodwork, tasteful décor, and interior volume. Her custom IK Yacht Design interior shows exceptionally well with new carpet, recovered sofa, coffee table, stylish chairs, and custom lighting features. Her comfortable sofa sits to port with an aft seating chair. To stbd aft is a matching chair. The stbd side of the salon is high gloss teak cabinetry and exceptional storage. An updated large flatscreen Samsung TV sits atop the cabinetry. Additional main salon features include….
Continuing forward from the salon is the galley. The layout is open to the salon that helps create an inclusive, large social environment. There is a small threshold that transitions from the custom carpeted main salon to the natural hard wood flooring in the galley. The galley is U shaped to port with great counterspace and storage. She features both an under counter Subzero refrigerator and a full-size fridge and freezer against the stbd side of the galley. This unit is neatly concealed in full wood cabinetry matching the rest of the vessel. Galley features include everything a shipboard gourmet would require including….
Moving just forward of the galley and up two steps to stbd we have a stainless-steel stairway with wood stair treads leading up to the fly bridge. Port and stbd wing doors for easy access to the foredeck. BONKERS custom layout does not utilize a lower helm station. This allows for a wonderful, raised dinette and an additional interior entertaining space. Additional features of this area include….
Located on the stbd side fwd. of the dinette area there is a carpeted semi spiral staircase that descends below to the lower accommodations. Immediately at the base of the stairwell are a set of cabinets that house a side-by-side washer and dryer. Just forward to port is the twin berth guest stateroom.
Across the hallway to stbd is the shared guest head. Hall access for guest room and day head use with additional entrance from the VIP stateroom. Head features include….
All the way forward down below in BONKERS will bring us to our VIP stateroom. The VIP is spacious and well laid out. She is very well appointed for a second travel couple or any VIP guest. Her highlights include….
Going back aft through the foyer will bring us to the midship full beam master stateroom. She is a truly masterful full beam arrangement with customizations. The original island queen berth was custom extended on the port side to make her larger while still allowing for the ability to get outboard to make the bed. A private master head and tons of storage make for a great liveaboard vessel or at least a very comfortable stateroom for long term cruising adventures. Other master stateroom highlights include….
The private master head aboard BONKERS is very spacious and full beam. She is nicely decorated and in keeping with the custom interior design of the rest of the vessel. Features include…
The Flybridge of BONKERS is accessible from the aft deck by ladder or from the stbd side of the dinette area from a stainless-steel stairway. The bridge is well out to be functional and social. The aft half of the bridge with her 13.5” Novurania on board is utilitarian in nature. There is a hydraulic davit for launch and retrieval. With the tender down this aft bridge area could be transformed into additional social seating or even sun space. The fwd. half of the bridge has a center walkway flanked by two storage cabinets. She boasts the must hardtop option with great weather protection from 3 sides of isinglass enclosure. The two wing panels roll up for air flow if desired. Her seating areas are split port and stbd with L shaped Sunbrella fabric cushions, each side having their own cocktail table. There is a single center line mounted captains chair just aft of the helm. Visibility from the helm is excellent. BONKERS features an updated top of the line GARMIN electronics package to assist in navigation and communications during shipboard journeys.

Back on the stern of BONKERS the crew and engine room is accessible from the oversized swim platform through the centerline watertight door. Immediately to stbd there is a large crew berth suitable for two if needed. This area has individual AC and climate controls. To port are storage cabinets and drawers. Outboard there is a sink and wash basin with a crew head.
Through another watertight door is the engine room. The engine room on BONKERS is a thing of beauty.
