Deck

The cockpit has a full canvas enclosure to keep you and your things dry on wet PNW days and nights. On warm summer days, you can roll up the canvas sides to enjoy shade but still get the cool breeze on the water. Access the engine and batteries using hatches in the cockpit. The owner has also added LED light strips to the interior and cockpit to provide additional dimmable, any-colored ambiance to augment factory lighting. Also enjoy multiple cockpit hatches where you can store your gear and supplies.

You can exit the cockpit off the sides, or through the transom door to the swim step. At any of the three exit points, you can unstrap and then unzip the canvas to pass through. Go through the transom to use the swim step or access the dinghy. The RIB dinghy comes with a 2.5 HP Yamaha motor. It works well during anchoring to get to shore or to putt around the marina.

The solar panel charges the house batteries, helping you stay at anchor longer. The inside monitor helps you keep track of your house batteries.

At the bow of the boat is an electric windlass that's accessible on the bow or at the helm, 50 feet of anchor chain, and an additional 150 feet of rope let you anchor securely throughout Puget Sound.

  • Dingy - Inflatable RIB 260 CSM Hypalon
  • Dingy Motor - Yamaha F2.5 4 stroke
  • Davit system - Weaver davits
  • Windless - Lewmar Pro-Series 1000 - Bow and helm control
  • Anchor - 16.5# Rocna 10
  • Chain & Line - 50' HT Chain 150' line

Accommodations / Galley

The split v-berth bed sleeps two, has storage, seating, and a changing area, depending on how you configure the cushions. Stepping up into the cabin, you'll see 4 skylight hatches. These help the cabin feel bright and airy.

The starboard helm includes a full electronics suite. The helm seat flips forward to provide you with additional counter space in the galley. The galley includes an under-counter refrigerator with freezer. The galley features a single-burner electric/alcohol stove, as well as a microwave under the port side bench. Enclosed head with shower, sink and electric marine toilet.

On the port side, there's a bench for 2 where your Admiral can control the music for the entire boat on the Bluetooth-ready stereo. The captain can also have control of the stereo from the touch screen at the helm. The port side bench flips to the front of the boat to become a rear-facing bench at the dinette table. The dinette sits 4 people and will drop down to become a bed. Add the included cushion and you can sleep 2 on the dinette. The rear bench and window shelf lift to allow access to the lower mid berth. This space can also accommodate 4 Long under-bed storage bins, which can slide into the deep recess under the dinette.

Storage

You'll be amazed at how much stuff you can store on this boat. There's storage on the v-berth walls and under all of the v-berth cushions. There's deep overhead storage above the windshield. The 4 galley cabinets are really deep, as is the cabinet under the sink in the head. The mid-berth area goes on and on. The cockpit has several large storage areas for your outdoor gear. If that's not enough, there's a cargo carrier on top with extra storage.

Factory Description

The SC in R25SC stands for Sport Cockpit. The SC cockpit (aft deck) is 25 percent larger than the original R25 giving it nearly 50 sq ft of aft deck space. The larger cockpit also lends itself to more above and blow deck storage and makes for easy access to the motor. The engine is located entirely outside of the cabin making for smooth, quiet cruising. The standard bow and stern thruster provide for excellent maneuverability around the dock and the 8' 6" beam allows the boat to be easily trailered.

BananaBelt Boats & Yachts

A True Family-Owned Business BananaBelt Boats and Yachts, founded in 2000 by John and Connie Ripley, began with a goal to create a ‘friends and family’ atmosphere. Since 2005, BananaBelt has led in sales of boats between 28' and 70' in the Pacific Northwest. In 2013, their daughter Amy Thornton and her husband Matthew took over, expanding the business significantly. They doubled their boat capacity and offer on-land moorage, a rare and valuable service in the region. Now led by Matthew and Amy, the team of marine professionals works to make buying and selling boats convenient, easy, and fun. As lifelong boaters, they own the On-Land Marina and the infrastructure to assist in every step of the boating process. The On-Land Marina, unique to BananaBelt, stores most boats on 5+ acres with walkways between them, allowing for easy viewing and access. This concept offers customers the ability to inspect entire hulls and easily browse numerous boats in one place. BananaBelt also owns 2 KMI Sea-Lifts, allowing quick and safe movement of boats up to 70’ and 100,000lbs between the water and the on-land marina, saving time and money. BananaBelt Boats & Yachts is still growing, with plans to expand further. When you buy or sell with them, you join the Banana Family and gain access to a growing range of services that enhance your boating lifestyle.
