Redstart is a 20ft Prelude cruiser with an electric inboard motor (Torqeedo Pod) - making it a quiet and fantastically ecological investment. She is also equipped with an alloy mast, terrylene sail including genoa jib. She comes with her own batteries and battery charger, generator and hand-cranked propeller. She is equipped with everything you need for river cruising and sailing offshore (including a toilet).
Redstart has a current Boat Safety Certificate. For an additional cost you can keep its dedicated mooring on a floating pontoon at Aquavista in Bath Marina. This entitles you to visit any of the 18 marinas in the UK including London, with the possibility of transferring to another marina. And, she is licensed with the Canal & River Trust as an electric or wind-powered vessel, which attracts a 25% discount due it being electric (to encourage less use of fossil fuels).
She has recently been refitted with a galley kitchen, double bed, 240v hook up, 12v and 24v and generator sockets, cold water tank, toilet with two containers and cabin lights throughout.
Included in the price is a very versatile SGS trailer with brand new tyres and brakes. Mooring comes at an additional cost made payable to Aquavista.
Currently situated in picturesque Bath Marina. The marina is small and safe with lots of facilities (showers, toilets, shop, slipway). It also resides near a park & ride into Bath City Centre and a pub/restaurant called The Boathouse.
