DESCRIPTION

Remarks : The Rival 34 designed by Peter Brett, a very well balanced and extremely seaworthy vessel. The sturdy design is an ideal long distance crusier and is a proven all weather performer. Fitted with a reliable Volvo MD2B 23hp engine, which is served yearly by the owner. The interior has an attractive teak interior with vinyl faux leather upholstery.  Owners Remarks & History: Cahuin was built ( launched as ‘Ness point')  for a wealthy Suffolk Turkey Farmer, who thought that seven berths (standard on ‘finished boats' ) was too many for a 34ft. boat.  She was transferred  to  Landimore's   Yard,  Ipswich to be fitted out with matched veneers in teak to ‘Oyster Standards' to 5 berths. She was re- named ‘ Cahuin' (an Argentinian Folk Dance) by the second owner Mr. Hamish Grant.  He sold her to a family named Maclean, Thence she came to me in 1988.
