Riviera was founded in 1980 by Bill Barry-Cotter and quickly grew and flourished through the ‘80s and 90s. In March 2012, Riviera was bought by Gold Coast developer and entrepreneur Rodney Longhurst, who remains at the helm of the business to this day.

Model ranges/Models of Riviera Yachts

Riviera Yachts is constantly evolving and expanding its lineup to stay ahead of development and innovation to create classically beautiful motor yachts and cruisers. Today’s lineup consists of six ranges with dozens of models, led by the flagship Riviera 78 Motor Yacht, the largest in the fleet. Each range offers owners something completely different, whether it’s a sporty silhouette, classic styling, luxury, or long-range capabilities. 

The stylish and sophisticated Sport Yacht range consists of four Sport Yacht Platinum Edition models; the 4600, 5400, 6000, and 6800. Elegant and powerful, this range features grand interior spaces with up to four staterooms, palatial saloons that open onto the aft deck for entertaining, as well as crew quarters. The 6800 flagship of the range offers a tender garage for storing water toys, as well as long-range capabilities for extended voyages.

The sporty and adventurous SUV series features six models ranging from the 395 SUV to the 645 SUV. The 395 SUV features one-level living, open cockpit, and a master stateroom with walk-around queen-size bed. At the other end of the scale, the 645 SUV has the largest water sports and fishing cockpit in the range, taking the single-level living and spacious staterooms to a larger scale. 

The Sports Motor Yacht Collection embodies true long range cruising. With new levels of luxury, design and structural superiority, Riviera presents the 46, 50, 58, 64, 68 and 72 Sports Motor Yacht models.

The 39 Open Flybridge and 43 Open Flybridge offer everything from fishing to bluewater cruising to entertaining in spacious, three-level luxury. Features include a large cockpit, boarding platform, a twin flybridge helm, and large galley with bar and saloon. 

The Belize Collection features four models; Belize 54 Sedan, Belize 66 Sedan, Belize 54 Daybridge, and the Belize 66 Daybridge. Sleek, elegant, and classical, they offer full beam master staterooms, two additional spacious cabins and huge interior, as well as a suite of technical credentials including glass cockpit navigation and Volvo Penta Inboard Performance System (IPS) with joystick docking. Only a limited number of these models are made each year.

The 78 Motor Yacht is the largest in Riviera’s fleet and marks a new era for the brand.
