The Sabre 38 is a diesel auxiliary masthead sloop designed by the Sabre Design Group and built in fiberglass by Sabre Yachts between 1981 and 1987. A total of 100 yachts were built. The Sabre 38 is a moderate weight sailboat that performs well under sail and can be successfully club raced. She is very stable/stiff and has an excellent righting moment, all qualities that one desires in a comfortable coastal cruiser. The reliable Westerbeke diesel with a 45 gal fuel tank and water tankage of 100 gallons gives this yacht an excellent range for that 3 week dream summer cruise. This Sabre 38 Mk1 is in very good to excellent condition with recent sails, new touch screen chart plotter, and a well-maintained engine, ready to sail.
