‘Marsh Dance’ A 2013/2014 Sea Otter 41' Narrowboat

This Aluminium Alloy Narrowboat is in super condition throughout. Like all Sea Otter Boats this craft is constructed using Marine Grade BS5083 Aluminium Alloy. Buying a Sea Otter allows you to spend your time cruising the canals, entertaining your friends and family and enjoy the life of owning a boat. Investing in an Aluminium Sea Otter means there are no expensive, laborious hull maintenance schedules, no need for frequent re-blacking and there are no anodes to change.

Hot water is supplied by the engine calorifier, central heating and an immersion when connected to shore power. 240V & 12V electrics on board. BSS valid to June 2022. Full engine service carried out in October 2018.

General

Built by Sea Otter boats in 2013 and launched in 2014 Marsh Dance has had only one owner since new. The beauty of the Sea Otter boat is their aluminium construction, meaning pretty much 0% hull maintenance, paint and hull coverings are purely for cosmetics.

Her interior is constructed of Ash marine ply and hardwood trims giving a light an airy feel with comfortable accommodation for 4-6.

Galley

Designed in the popular reverse layout, this vessel offers a generous sized galley positioned to port. The galley provides ample space for cooking and boasts Corian work surfaces, a 12V fridge, 4 burner gas hob, grill and oven.

Dinette

Positioned to starboard features a single Pullmans style dinette area for two with forward and aft facing seats. This can also be converted to form a single bed or a bunk accommodating two extra berths.

Bathroom / Heads

The shower room/heads are surprisingly spacious for a narrowboat utilising all the space available. A moulded hand basin with single mixer, pumpout toilet, and a good size shower.

Master Cabin

A fixed double bed is found forward with an overhead cupboard and reading lights.

Saloon

The saloon has direct access onto the front well deck which has been fitted with a cratch board and cover. The L shaped seating converts into a double berth with storage beneath, opposite is a multi-fuel stove on a tiled hearth.

Electrics

The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the sockets throughout the boat. When cruising, a Mastervolt 2500W inverter/charger ensures you are never without power.

Heating / Hot Water System

In addition to the Hamlet multi fuel stove in the saloon there is a Webasto diesel fired central heating system on board running radiators throughout the boat; providing ample of heat on board, ideal for all year-round cruising. The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running and an immersion when connected to shore power.
