Sessa Oyster 40 Overview

The Sessa Oyster 40 is a stylish sports cruiser equipped with twin Volvo Penta KAD44 engines, providing impressive speed up to 34 knots. It accommodates six people across two cabins and a convertible saloon dinette. The cockpit is designed for entertaining, featuring ample seating, a wet bar, drinks fridge, and a large bathing platform at the stern.

This vessel features a two cabin, one heads layout with a cherry wood gloss interior. It includes:

• Six double berths across the two cabins with a convertible saloon dinette and table.
• Forward cabin with double bed and storage underneath.
• Midships cabin with two single berths that can be infilled to create a double.
• Saloon with leather dinette seating.
• Galley equipped with a two burner gas hob and Kenwood microwave oven.
• Large Isotherm refrigerator.
• Logik TV.
• Opening port hatch.

The heads includes an electric sea toilet, handbasin with hot and cold water, shower with hot and cold water, shower curtain, and an opening port hatch.

The cockpit features a single bucket style helm seat with booster, L-shaped passenger seating, C-shaped seating with GRP table and storage beneath. The table can be lowered to create a large sun pad. Additional features include a wet bar with sink and storage locker, Isotherm refrigerator, transom door, and transom shower with hot and cold water.

Powered by 2 x Volvo Penta KAD44 turbocharged and supercharged diesel engines with 260HP, located under cockpit seating. Current engine hours are 644 hours (July 2024). The last service was in March 2020. The engines are freshwater cooled and equipped with Volvo Penta DuoProp outdrives with power trim and lift. Additional features include:

The Sessa Oyster 40 was built in 2002. It features a white GRP hull and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces, a sliding companionway door, and a teak cockpit and bathing platform.
