Gallant is a tidy example of a Sigma 38, and a testament to her owners who have meticulously maintained her and attended to running issues as they have arisen. Her general condition is commensurate with a light racing career and rather more cruising time. The internal varnish has all been re done as have the cabin windows and port light Perspex windows 2019.
Gallant has been stored ashore annually over winter.

Owner’s comment:
I have cherished and loved this boat getting as much enjoyment out of maintaining and upgrading her to sailing and her - including competing in singlehanded R.N.S.A events.
Sleeps 8 in 3 cabins
Twin aft double cabins, with owners cabin to port, c/w vanity unit , wash basin, shaver point and mirror. Both aft cabins have hanging stowage plus large cupboard stowage aft and smaller compartments outboard.
The saloon is finished in blue upholstery (the entire suite of cushions in all cabins and the saloon renewed) and teak joinery.
The large table can seat 8 and has a protective canvas cover whilst under way. Saloon berths and pilot berths outboard each side.
The forepeak is used generally for stowage and has a double berth above.
Galley to starboard:
Twin sinks, hot and cold pressurized water
Plastimo 2000 twin burner cooker with oven and grill.
Fridge (motor and cooling plate replaced in 2014)
Cutlery
To port is the chart table. This is a very good size, with ample storage for charts inside the opening table, where a full sized chart can me managed easily.
The heads are forward of the main saloon, to starboard and feature a wash basin with a hot and cold tap. A teak grating on the floor keeps your feet out of the sump which is drained overboard by an electric pump. Manual Jabsco marine WC
Makuni warm air heating (2015), all trunking has been insulated with foil insulation providing more efficient heating (2019)
