'Speranza' is an elegant British sloop, designed by David Thomas and built under the Sigma Yachts brand by Marine Projects, Plymouth, U.K. A fast cruiser she could also be raced competitively.
Practical Boat Owner magazine said about the Sigma 41: "The 41 is sought out by many canny sailors who want a tough long-distance cruiser that can move fast and take nasty weather in its stride. At the price there is little to match it".
Speranza was stored inside for many years until purchased last year by the current owner. She benefits from a 2021 detailed survey which concludes that the vessel is sound with normal wear. The condition of the boat indicates she has no major defects and has been well cared for throughout. The surveyor assessed her as 89/100 - Good.
