Built by South Hants Engineering (SHE) to a Sparkman & Stephens design, The SHE 32C is distinctive thanks to her "clipper" bow, angled forefoot and long over hang at the stern. The result is a fast, stiff and easy to handle cruiser/racer with a light helm suitable for both cruising with the family or thrashing round the cans on a weekend with your pals. Below decks, although spartan, offers good headroom, storage and 4 decent berths. She is classed as a 6 berth yacht with the addition of two pilot berths in the saloon but as the writer and in my early 50's I would struggle to get in one and definitely struggle to get out again. Good suit of sails including main, genoa, storm jib, jib and big boy. Accommodation : The main cabin is entered from the cockpit. The galley is incorporated behind the engine housing and has a stainless steel sink with hand pumped fresh water. There is plentiful storage for provisions and utensils. Main saloon with settee/berths either side of offset saloon table. Above the settees port and starboard is occasional berths and storage. Forward of the saloon bulkhead is the heads compartment with Lavac sea toilet and sink unit with hanging space opposite. In the forepeak is the bow cabin with a further two berths. Interior is easy clean green vinyl and light varnished teak.
