Mainsail (Gowen 2017) with mainsail cover. Blade jib (Gowen 2017). (main and blade jib are Hydravane woven Dyneema - currently stored with sailmaker). No 1 Genoa, storm jib, 2 further headsails. 2 spinnakers. Alloy mast and boom. Rod rigging (2017).

Marine toilet in forepeak. Cooker with 2 burners (gas - with 2 bottles in cockpit).
OWNERS COMMENTS
"Wildwood" is a one-off Mount Gay 30 built in 1997, epoxy cedar strip hull, plywood deck and internals, triple diagonal khaya mahogany coachroof, cast iron fin with lead bulb, carbon rudder on aluminium stock. Purchased by her present owner in 2020 with December 2020 survey followed by minor hull repairs as per recommendations. Recon engine installed in 2017,
Full respray of topsides in blue - 2022.
Her current and previous owners fast cruised her. Her previous owner still has a video on YouTube and commented "I only cruise in her and have no particular ambition to go racing. As a cruising boat, she is fast enough to not necessarily need to passage plan around the tides. Racing boats, by their nature, are efficient sailing machines which more often than not come with good manners. This is particularly true with WILDWOOD, she will happily potter along in excess of 10kts with the autopilot steering in perfect control, freeing up a short-handed crew to cook, navigate, do jobs around the boat or just relax."
