Discover the unparalleled blend of elegance and world-class craftsmanship in the Tayana 58 Bermudan Cutter Rigged Auxiliary Sailing Yacht, custom-built in 2008 by Ta Yang Yachts, Taiwan. Inspired by the genius of Dutch Naval Architect and designer, Pieter Beeldsnijder, this yacht is a masterpiece that has not only met but exceeded the highest standards. The current owners, veteran yacht owners and seasoned sailors, have commissioned a vessel that encapsulates their lifelong passion for cruising and passage-making in this seventh yacht and their second Tayana, the remarkable 'Mk 4' Tayana 58.
Built for the serious cruiser, the Tayana 58 stands out in its class with a hull that is as durable and versatile as it is safe and high-performing. Notorious for its outstanding handling and sea worthiness, this yacht presents a self-tacking staysail cutter rig that offers a versatile sailing experience, perfect for easy short-handed sailing. The yacht's mid-ships cockpit provides optimal visibility and reliable weather protection. This Tayana 58 is proof that world cruising doesn't necessitate a full crew; with all control lines leading into the cockpit to 4 electric winches, even a retired couple can easily navigate her.
Inside, the Tayana 58 boasts a wide beam that generously accommodates a three-cabin layout, a full stand-up engine room, and a workbench. The deck saloon invites an abundance of light, air, and panoramic views, offering a safe and comfortable environment. Under the raised deck saloon sole, you'll find extra-large tankage for both fuel and water. The renowned teak interior joinery work of Ta Yang adds to the luxurious feel, meticulously maintained and equipped with three air conditioning/heating units. After being built in Taiwan and finely fitted in Hong Kong with sails, electronics, and soft furnishings, she started her blue-water cruising life and is now waiting for her next adventure, currently moored in the stunning waters of Turkey.

The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.

Ce Certification
Custom built for the present owners by Ta Yang Yachts in Taiwan in 2008, she is a Tayana 58 Bermudan cutter-rigged auxiliary sailing yacht designed by Dutch Naval architect and designer, Pieter Beeldsnijder. She is fully CE certified.
The modifications incorporated into this yacht by the owners, for whom this is the seventh yacht and second Tayana, were significant. This bespoke build captured the very best features of lives spent cruising and passage making and turned into the ‘Mk 4’ Tayana 58.
The Tayana 58 ‘Deck Salon / Centre Cockpit’ is designed and built for serious cruising; the hull is one of the most durable, versatile, safest and best performing in its class. This Tayana 58 is a proven world cruiser known for her beautiful handling and seaworthiness, her cutter rig with self-tacking staysail provides a versatile sailing rig for easy short-handed sailing. Her mid-ships cockpit allows excellent visibility and protection from weather, both kind and inclement. The yacht can (and is) easily handled by a retired cruising couple with all control lines brought into the cockpit to 4 electric winches.
The wide beam easily accommodates the three cabin layout and it carries a full stand-up engine room and workbench. The deck saloon provides light, air, visibility and protection. There is extra-large tankage for both fuel and water under the raised sole of the deck saloon. The custom teak interior joinery work of Ta Yang is legendary and has been maintained in excellent order. She is equipped with three air conditioning / heating units.
Once built in 2008, she was shipped from Taiwan to Hong Kong where final fit-out took place including all the canvas work (sails, bimini, awnings etc.), electronics, setting-up rigging, fitting furlers, soft furnishings etc. From here she started her blue-water cruising life and is currently lying in Turkey.
