Tige Boats have produced a lot of different models over the brand's lifetime. It started with ust a single model when it launched in 1992 (the 20-foot 2000 SL Comp), but less than a decade later it had over 10 models in its repertoire. Throughout the decades, Tige Boats has remained true to its original vision of creating high performance, family-friendly tow boats, and while innovation and development have improved on each model, the sizes (20- to 25-feet) and objective have not.
Today Tige Boats offers three classes of finely honed tow boats. The flagship Ultré ZX Class, with its 23ZX and 25ZX models, offers ultra-luxury combined with high-performance technology.
Their other two models are no less impressive, with the popular RZX Class continuing with the latest 22 and 24 models, and the Z Class offering the Z1, Z3, and Z5 models, which range from 21 to 25 feet in length. With the award-winning Alpha E3 sports tower, high spec audio system, plush interior, Raptor-series engine, and next generation control panel technology, they are finely tuned machines.
On the used market, two of the longest-running classes of Tige Boats were the R and Z ranges, which were in production beginning around 2000 for over 20 years. These are still widely available, as well as the RZ range, which has been one of the brand's most successful. Older models of the RZ—both before and after the iconic Tige Boats W-shaped bow was introduced—offer excellent value for money.

Tige Boats was founded by Charlie Pigeon who, through his expertise gained in working for some of the top watersports boat brands in the business, saw an opportunity to push the boundaries. In 1992, he founded Tige Boats and the same year launched its first model, the award-winning 2000SLM. It was to be the first of many award-winners for the brand.
Tige Boats—based in Texas—prides itself on pushing innovation, and this is evident in its numerous industry-leading patents. Probably most significant is its TAPS (Tige Adjustable Performance System) wake-shaping technology, which was launched in 1995 and is today in its third generation.
The company truly put its name on the map in 2000 when it was named the Official Towboat of the IWSF World Wakeboard Championship Series and launched the first worldwide wakeboard tour. Since then, Tige's reputation as one of the premier tow boats has only risen. Yet the brand's success is in the versatility of its boats. Far from purely tournament-level boats, it offers the comfort, luxury, easy-to-handle controls, and multi-sport versatility that families demand.
Among its many accolades, Tige Boats were the first to develop a touchscreen control panel in the inboard market back in 2009, leading the way for other brands. So, too, did its revolutionary Alpha E2 Electric Powered Tower turn heads when it was revealed in 2017 where it won WakeWorld's Innovation of the Year. Today it is a major feature on all Tige Boats.
