The Sellers southern sailboat had her brightwork painted with Allwood five years ago in Mexico and the wood looks like new. Allwood is lightyears more UV resistant than varnish!! Sails are in very good condition, including the main, genoa, and spinnaker. The Yanmar 3JH2 engine has just under 400 hours; Sellers southern sailboat has a Yanmar with 4,000 hours so this engine is barely broken in! She is available with her mooring in Eliot, Maine, gateway to the Maine coast, which many regard as the world's best sailing grounds. This boat is a rare find on the Northeast coast, but it suits her well. As an iconic Robert Perry designed double-ender, she handles these waters superbly since she was built for bluewater world cruising. She has a woodstove for winter and an air conditioner (hardly used here in New England) for summer. Her solar panels mounted on the arch easily keep the batteries charged.
