The Velmare Vagabond 47 is a spacious sheltered, centre cockpit blue water cruising yacht with sea kindly lines and fully fitted for live aboard cruising. She has a simple rig easily handled by a small crew, powerful main engine and, with this and her bow thruster, is extremely easy to handle in close quarters. Accommodation :
The Velmare Vagabond offers accommodation for seven persons in five cabins. With approximately 1.9m headroom, fabric upholstery finished in blue. Carpets throughout. Hot water cabin heating system. Galley equipped with top opening fridge, Nelson 2 burner gas hob with grill and oven, microwave, one and a half sink with drainer and mixer tap, with ample storage. Forward Storage compartment with V shelves (could possibly be used as bunks). Forward twin cabin to starboard with upper and lower bunks, hanging locker and drawers. Second twin cabin to port forward with upper and lower bunks, hanging locker and drawers. Forward heads to starboard with sink, hot and cold pressurised water, shower, teak shower grating, storage cupboard with marine toilet. Steps up to deck saloon with L shaped dinette and table to port and settee, table and nav station to starboard. Nav station has large chart table, chart stowage and swing out navigator’s seat. Steps down from saloon to port walk through “passage cabin” to aft cabin with upper and lower passage berths, storage drawers, hanging locker and engine room access door. Large aft cabin with good size double berth, L shaped settee, seat, steps giving direct access to cockpit, large hanging locker, storage drawers and en suite heads with marine toilet, teak shower grating and storage cupboard.

White GRP hull with long fin keel and encapsulated ballast. Skeg hung rudder with wheel steering. White GRP deck, superstructure, sheltered centre cockpit and raised deck saloon. Interior joinery of varnished mahogany. Owned by the current owner for the last 24 years, selling to downsize.
