This 2003 Viking enclosed bridge sport fish has not been on the market in over 12 years. It has had the same seasoned owner who has upgraded and maintained it to a Bristol level. She has never existed a day without a full-time crew's full care and custody following a well-defined maintenance matrix which leaves zero to chance.
The incredible re-imagination of this Enclosed Viking has been meticulously executed by an extremely knowledgeable owner who thought of every way to raise this sportfish to the very pinnacle of her class. Having successfully done numerous other sportfish to this level, seeing the results speaks volumes and is the only way justice can be done pursuant to seeing the results of the "short" list of improvements noted. This build is equipped with twin 16V2000 MTU M90 engines, which provide exceptional speed and power for navigating all sea conditions and chasing down big game fish or just cruising in blissful comfort.
The enclosed bridge design offers protection from the elements while still providing excellent visibility for the captain and guests. The interior of the bridge is outfitted with comfortable seating, upgraded state-of-the-art navigation and communication systems, and seven CCTV cameras, all data and any video information is distributed to the entire vessel to include every Garmin screen and TV (including full engine data not available on any other MTU 65 EB). All the amenities needed for a successful day or week of fishing/cruising. The enclosed bridge makes everyone want to ride on the bridge and arrive fresh in the climate controlled space plus your instruments electronics and soft goods stay in perfect condition remaining outside of the elements. With the watermaker and 600LB/day Eskimo ice chipper the vessel is self-sustaining alongside the twin generators.
Walking through the main deck of the Viking 65 Sport Fish, you will find a spacious 179 sq ft cockpit equipped with mezzanine seating that offers a great platform within instant reach of the pit's action. In the cockpit you have the teak covered deck, teak covering boards with exaggerated full bullnosed combing all enhanced by a Bluewater custom fighting chair. In addition, a taller stanchion and custom rocket launcher exist for those times when the chair is not necessarily desired. Other features include screw less rod holders, bait prep stations, P&S tackle centers recessed in mezzanine and a large fish box for storing your catch. To take it even a step higher, the re-imagination of this 65's mezzanine included developing a Gaggenau grill mounted centerline below the mezzanine seating hidden away as needed even inclusive of a custom weighted canvas that covers the area of teak deck such that when grilling, no splatter should ever touch the teak decks. The painstaking efforts taken in the re-imagination of this vessel are really incredibly thoughtful and simply without compare!
Moving inside beyond the compressed air controlled salon entry, the salon is elegantly appointed with high-quality furnishings to include U-shaped sofas with tremendous storage capacity, a custom cabinet for accessible tackle kit storage, custom bar cabinets, a pop up flat screen TV with full A/V system complimented by a customized remote system that allows easily accessed control of salon TV, thermostat, audio and vessel electronics display choices. Brand new headliner complimented by updated HVAC plenums tastefully covered lambrequins, LED soffit lighting and LED dimmable recessed LED lights. The fully-equipped galley complete with under counter Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezer drawers and deep pull out storage shelving. Just forward of the galley accessed by a door on port side of companionway steps is a large step in closet with ample shelving as a pantry or additional storage for long trips. The dinette's Teak dining table that will seat 6, perfect for entertaining guests and more ample storage below seating. Teak cabinets forward of dinette house custom drawers for efficient well placed storage of tableware and barware affording everything you need a well defined location that will not rack bout when cruising.
Below deck, you will find four luxurious stateroom accommodations accessed from a near centerline companionway for extended trips that including en-suite heads with full size stand up showers, a king master to port, a queen walk around VIP forward, to starboard an over under bunk, a crew stateroom with access to the engine room through a forward water tight door (in addition as well to cockpit entry) and plenty of storage space full size Maytag washer and dryer in companionway hall closet, and plenty of storage space for gear and personal belongings. In the floor of the hall and forward stateroom there its great access to the bilge, bow thruster motor and again more storage areas. The engine room is a full stand up space indicative of a large sport fish/yacht that gives full access to the engines and all support equipment like the generators, water makers, Eskimo 600 etc. In the sides of the aft stair entry on both sides giving yet more storage lazarettes under the mezzanine deck.
Even every single overhead light both interior and exterior to include all spreaders have been meticulously changed to modern LED and complimented by LED transformers that operate at a far cooler temperature and provide far more clean lumens of light. The owner recognized that most of the vessels built in the early 2000's all had interior quartz recessed lighting that are noted to be extremely hot and potentially hazardous. Research was effected and every fixture was addressed. Even the bilge and E/R lights. With her prop pockets, this makes the boat a shallow draft boat at 5'4". Imperative for some of the out island approaches.
Overall, this 2003 Viking enclosed bridge sport fish with 16V2000 MTU M90 1850 HP engines is by far at the top-of-it's class for a fishing/cruising vessel that offers a perfect combination of performance, comfort, and style for serious anglers who demand the best. What other sporty in this class can you monitor the vessel's Main engine gauges, an anchor watch, trip progress, bottom sounder, fuel management, CCTV or FLIR from any MFD or TV throughout.
This vessel has remained full time captain maintained 365 days a year since purchase with zero hesitation to make any and all improvements available. Only seeing this vessel will do justice to the aforementioned if you're in the market for a large extremely well kept and improved sportfish.
