2002 Voyage 440 Owners Version - 3 + 1 Cabins
PLANNING TO SAIL SOON? Buy this boat! Currently sailing back to Grenada from Hawaii, Amanecer is a proven performance, bluewater catamaran built in South Africa.
She features a landing platform across her stern, extending outdoor living space at anchor and serving as dinghy storage underway. The wide sugar scoops allow for easy boarding, complemented by a sturdy swim ladder for water access. All lines lead to the cockpit for single-handed sailing. The plank strip on the generous trampoline provides a firm walkway for anchoring or catching a mooring ball. Two teak pulpit seats are located at the bow for dolphin watching or wave riding adventures!
There are two built-in steps from the foredeck to the cabin top, in addition to a solid catwalk down the center of the bimini for complete access to the boom and solar panels—a very rare option but incredibly handy! The cozy cockpit area includes a custom cocktail table. The galley is equipped with a four-burner stove and large oven. The sink is stainless steel with a separate built-in drying rack. A breakfast bar divides the galley from the saloon area, which has comfortable table seating arrangements for eight with a folding table for entertainment options.
On each side of the stove are the entryways to the guest cabins: one queen-size bed in the aft cabin, with the forward cabin converted into a workroom. The other side is the owner's cabin, featuring a queen-size bed, office space in the middle, and a full-size bathroom aft with a separate shower. Access to the quarter berth is through the aft head, providing additional cabin space with access outside to the cockpit—great for communicating with the helmsman when underway!

All cabins have queen-size beds. This Owner’s version layout offers three queen-size cabins (one cabin is a converted workshop) and two heads. The deck has been designed for safety and shorthanded sailing with all controls led aft to the coachroof winches. The 440 also features a generous performance sail plan. The ample deck and trampoline area allow for comfortable outdoor activities, and the large cockpit is shaded by a bimini with a hardtop walkway aft. The traveler arch features a step-through to the dive platform.
