OVERVIEW AMAZING GRACE is an Iconic Wasque 26. She has been stored inside heated and serviced for years by the renowned Dodson’s Boatyard in Stonington, CT and is now stored indoors heated at Webster Marine in Bristol, RI. The boat underwent a big refit in 2011 and a good number of significant improvements have been made in the past four years by the current owner including installation of a bow thruster; updated Garmin GPS plotter; the addition of a custom transom seat; a second set of engine controls aft with tiller steering were completely reworked and a new custom teak tiller was made; a windshield washer system was added.
Considerable attention has been paid to the Isuzu diesel engine to ensure trouble free operation for years to come. The engine has always run great and a recent pre-purchase survey with sea trial conducted in September of 2021 confirms as much. Extensive service records are available upon inspection of the yacht.
The Awlgrip painted Flag Blue topsides are in very nice shape as is all of the exterior varnished teak- of which there is plenty. A recent fiberglass swim platform; 2 position backrest on the engine box seat, Bimini top, opening ports and hatches, a teak bow pulpit with anchor roller- are just a few of the notable options.
The interior features a V-berth, fully functional head with varnished teak drop-down seat and settee cushion, vanity with sink and cabinetry along with opening ports and a large hatch for natural light and ventilation.
