A 9’AB Hypalon dinghy was purchased new in 2012, complete new or refurbished electronics in 2011, new anchor chain 2016, new batteries 2016, new windlass motor and remote 2016 etc. etc.

History
First launched in France in 1989, Mahalo sailed the Atlantic and to her first owner living in Maryland on the U.S east coast. He lightly sailed her until 1998. Her 2nd owners, from, took her up and down the U.S. coast, to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean and in 2002 sailed her across the Atlantic, where she spent the next 6 years in the Mediterranean and was expertly refit in Italy in 2008. As the owner couple was now in their mid-seventies, they decided to ship Mahalo back to Florida in 2009 and swallow the anchor. Her previous owners purchased her in 2011 and have sailed her seasonally since then in the U.S., Bahamas, and Eastern Caribbean.
