The Ultimate "Great Loop" Boat

"Tignish" is a seaworthy Downeast hull powered by an economical single diesel. This beautiful Beal 40' fast trawler has undergone many recent upgrades in preparation for a "Great Loop" adventure. However, a change in the current owner's plans makes her available and ready for her next owners.

You enter the pilothouse midships from either the port or starboard side. The cockpit's centerline door to the main salon allows access from aft. The pilothouse provides a protected space for the captain to operate the boat with a wonderful 360° view. The chart table is located on the port side of the centerline helm.

Going aft from the pilothouse, you step down two stairs into the salon level, where you find the L-shaped galley on the port side. Just aft of the galley is a couch that converts to a double berth. On the starboard side of the salon, there is a small dinette area. The salon features large opening windows and an aft door to the cockpit.

Moving forward, down just a few steps from the pilothouse, you access the head, shower, and owner’s stateroom. Access to the head and shower is provided by a door at the base of the stairwell and a private entrance from the owner’s stateroom. The owner's stateroom features an island centerline queen berth with plenty of drawers and lockers.

Engine room access is through a hidden door in the shower to port and a second access through a sealed door to starboard.

The pilothouse is the centerpiece of this beautiful trawler.
