My Girl is a mechanically sound vessel to cruise in or spend the weekends on the water or at a favorite location. The amount of usable space in My Girl is very surprising for a 38’ vessel. The two cabins are spacious. The deck and upper helm are spacious. You could live on this vessel quite comfortably. The current owners have had this vessel for 20 years since 2003. They are only selling My Girl as they want to explore on land the Northwest USA and beyond.

The two cabins are spacious. The deck and upper helm are spacious. You could live on this vessel quite comfortably. The current owners have had this vessel for 20 years since 2003. They are only selling My Girl as they want to explore on land the Northwest USA and beyond. The owner has told me that everything works. He was a mechanical engineer in his career and has done a significant amount of troubleshooting and maintaining issues that arose besides the mechanics who have serviced the vessel.
They have all the invoices from work completed here in Eastern North Carolina.
There is cosmetic work that will be needed to be done at some point in time such as replacing the flybridge enclosure, woodwork, varnishing, etc.
Access to the vessel is on either the port or starboard side. There is a railing that lifts up on either side. Most likely you will need a step ladder unless you have a high dock.
The bow has space to lounge or sit back and read.
There is an Ideal Windlass with chain.
Main Salon and Galley:
The main salon and the galley are one space. On the port side there is a couch that opens to sleep two. The starboard side has a galley with refrigerator, new convection microwave, 3 burner electric stove and plenty of cabinets. The inside helm is located on the starboard side on the bow side of this space.
Master Stateroom:
This is the aft cabin accessed by steps going down to the cabin. This space is a very surprising size for a 38’ vessel that is the full width of the boat.
There is a Queen size bed with plenty of closets and dressers. TV works on the starboard side cabinet. You can see in the photos that the full bathroom and shower are very adequate.
Guest Stateroom:
The Guest cabin is in the bow and you access by going down steps from the salon. There is a full size bed, with a wood desk and plenty of storage. There is also a full bathroom and shower in this cabin.
Deck:
The deck has an enclosure but can be rolled up for fresh air. The owners conveyed that they have had 11 guests on the deck sharing a meal.
You have to access the deck to go to flybridge helm, the cabin space, the swim platform and either walkway to the bow.
