Boat Overview

The Westerly 33 sloop is a well-built, centre cockpit with a separate aft cabin, designed for offshore cruising. Known for their easy handling in all weather conditions, these boats are recognized for their sea-kindly motion in a seaway. This fin-keel version underwent a professional epoxy treatment in 2016 and comes with a comprehensive inventory, including central heating. Viewing is by appointment only through our Suffolk Office.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers seven berths in three cabins with full standing headroom. In the forecabin, there is a V berth with stowage underneath and an opening hatch to the foredeck. A hanging locker is also present. The separate heads to port include a marine toilet, shower, and washbasin. In the saloon, there are two settee berths, with the port one converting to a double. Seat backs convert to lee boards. A fixed saloon table with drop leaves is available, along with a chart table to port and a galley opposite. The galley features a three-burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven, new in 2015, a stainless steel sink, and a hot and cold pressurized water system. The freshwater capacity is 190 litres. A refrigerator is also included. Removable companionway steps lead to the cockpit. The separate aft cabin has two single berths and access from the cockpit. Eberspacher diesel-fired hot air central heating is installed. The upholstery is beige fabric, with new saloon mattresses added in 2016. A radio/CD player was added in 2017. The saloon features teak and holly floors. Domestic water and shower pumps have been replaced recently, and some LED interior lighting is installed.
