The Westerly Pageant was introduced to the British boating public in 1970 following the success of the larger Westerly Centaur. From a distance it is hard to differentiate between the two and on closer inspection you are pleased to see that below decks everything is in proportion.
For what is essentially a 23 footer, the cockpit can accommodate 4 persons with ease and below decks can sleep 4-5 persons with ease making this the ideal family cruiser or couples boat. Due to the high ballast ratio she is stiff and sea worthy particularly in a blow and inspires confidence in helm and crew.
Well maintained vessel ready to go. Between 2012 and 2015 she has been over hauled and now boasts a New Yanmar 1GM10 inboard diesel, new standing and running rigging, New main and furling genoa and up to date electronic Navigation package.
Target Navtex Pro-Plus, Merlin Smart gauge battery monitor, Exhaust temperature monitor added 2018.
Accommodation :
Below decks is bright and airy with easy clean headlinings.
Teak faced bulkhead with storage port and starboard above galley and saloon seating area.
Galley on port side with removable work tops. Built in plate and cupboard storage
Galley consists of a moulded sink, pressurised fresh water and a 2-burner spirit stove.
Berths consist of a double forward and three singles in the saloon.
Table slides up and down a pole and is removable if required.
Heads compartment with hanging space opposite.
12V lighting and reading lights throughout. 3-pin sockets.
