Owner's comments
Designed by John Butler in 1968, they were built to Westerly's normal high constructional standards - i.e. much more heavily built than almost all new yachts of similar size sold today. Although a few inches shorter than the Centaur, they are slightly beamier, and as a result offer very similar interior space. With their well ballasted fin keel and 4' 3" draught, the performance is significantly better than the Centaur
