It employs 170 skilled craftspeople to produce models, both custom and production, ranging from 26 to 60 feet. The company started building custom models in 2009, focusing on luxury tenders for superyachts, chase boats, and limo tenders, as well as and elegant day or weekend cruisers. 

Apart from the luxury styling and finishes, one of the hallmarks of Windy Boats are the deep V-hulls which offer both a fast and exhilarating ride as well as a safe, smooth and dry one. By using resin transfer molding the brand is able to produce lightweight, fuel-efficient hulls. The result is sleek and elegant sport boats and offshore cruisers that are beautiful and technologically advanced. 

Through the decades, Windy Boats has racked up an impressive number of awards for its models. One of the latest awards includes winning the 2024 MBY Awards Superboats Category for high-performing W34 Alizé.

 

Model ranges/Models of Windy Boats

The current Windy Boats range consists of three series; the Classic Sports Cruisers, the SR Sports Line, and the SR Yacht Tenders, as well as its custom builds. 

There are nine models of Classic Sport Cruisers ranging from the W27 Solano to the W40 Camira RS and SX. While the smaller models were originally created as day cruisers, the addition of a small cabin makes them capable of overnight trips or to have a space away from the elements. The 32 Grand Zonda, however, offers more space, making it a true weekend cruiser combined with the handling of a sport boat, and a sleek, racy styling, and luxury finish. 

Mention must be made of the award-winning W34 Alizé, whose high performance, innovative engineering makes it one of the top-ranked sport cruisers on the market. The largest of this range is the 40 Camira, available as the inboard RS or outboard SX versions. With hard T-tops with integrated sunroofs, large cabins, galleys, and heads they are highly capable and luxurious weekend cruisers.

The head-turning Sports Line is a new generation development by Windy Boats and currently consists of four models; the SR 28 Center Console, the SR38, and the SR 44 inboard model and SR44 SX outboard model. Each one benefits from impressive attention to detail, from the hand-stitched upholstery to the hand-laid teak decks, the custom fittings, and the jaw-dropping performance. The SR38, designed by world leading superyacht designer Espen Øino, pushes the boundaries of innovation. With features such as drop-down stern sides to create a large deck, a sliding roof, a choice of contemporary interior styling, and lots of creative storage solutions, it is a truly versatile boat built for comfort, adventure, and luxury.

In addition to the large range of sport boats and cruisers, Windy Boats has a range of production and custom luxury superyacht tenders including the SR26, the SR44 PRO, the SR52, and the SLR/SR60, the largest model in the Windy range. 

With such a long history, Windy Boats has many previous models available on the used market. Mention must be made of the hugely successful 31 Zonda, which was winner of both a European Power Boat award and MBY Motor Boat award.
