The system operates via two paddles located on steering wheel, like shift paddles on a car, and can be reached and operated with your hands on the wheel. The right paddle moves the boat forward, the left moves her in reverse, all limited by the low speed of docking mode. You will impress your guests and on-lookers by docking your boat without ever touching the throttle lever! While underway, there are tons of amenities for a day on the water. Swim-up seating that attaches to stern and sits just below the waterline, or converts to stern-mounted tables for food and beverages. Aft bench seats have reversible backrests to create aft-facing lounge sun pads or forward-facing transom seats when underway. In the 275SD, Yamaha has added a cockpit wet bar/galley with premium countertop, a storage drawer, a freshwater sink and room for a 30-quart cooler underneath.
