When Beneteau announced the launch of a new flagship boat, everyone knew it was going to be a head turner. And we weren’t disappointed. Launched late in 2020, the Beneteau Antares 11 remains a sexy and sporty—yet undeniably elegant—32-foot weekend cruiser, with a modern silhouette and true yacht styling. Yet Beneteau is keen to emphasize that this is a family cruiser, highlighting safety, seaworthiness, and functional layout above its pretty looks.
One of the most noticeable design elements of the brand’s largest outboard coupe are the huge windows in the wheelhouse, which allow for panoramic sea views as well as copious amounts of natural light. The interior décor works with the light, with pale woods and neutral tones giving off modern beach house vibes. This really is a family home on the water.
The Antares 11, a collaboration between Benetau and Sarrazin Design, brings the heritage of the Antares line into a new era. The focus on family cruising along with impressive performance and undeniable good looks means it lives up to its flagship status.

Beneteau Antares 11 Key Features
The attention to detail on Beneteau’s Antares 11 is noticeable, and the designers have managed to find the sweet spot between having everything you need and not over-cluttering. The result is a clean and spacious feel, with all mod conveniences.
The Antares 11 has two cabins, a spacious master with en-suite shower room and a full-beam aft cabin with triple berths. The convertible saloon means a total of seven guests can be accommodated in comfort. The saloon, complete with skylights, has a well-equipped galley, dining table, and comfortable lounging area.
Technology-wise, this model is well-advanced, including a smartphone cellphone application that allows for checking the status of everything from the battery to the fuel and water tank levels, as well as route planning. The comfortable helm has space for either a 12- or 16-inch Garmin display.
The whole Antares line focuses on family day trips and weekend cruises. There are plush sun pads fore and aft, an expansive swim platform, and even an optional and innovative aft canopy for added sun shade. Even the hull, with its two-stage flared bow, increases buoyancy and comfort in choppier seas.

Beneteau Antares 11 Performance
There is choice of twin Mercury, Suzuki or Yamaha outboards available on the Antares 11, with a combined total of 600 horsepower. Boat testers have reached speeds of 28 to 33mph at a fuel-conserving 4500rpm, using less than 30 gallons of fuel per hour. Pushing the throttle to its maximum 6000rpm sees speeds of 40 to 45mph.
Handling is gentle and intuitive, especially around the docks when the optional joystick control really comes into its own.
