Construction

A structural single-skinned inner molding is bonded and laminated to the hull, absorbing stresses at pressure points and spreading loads to reduce strain on the hull. The deck comprises sandwich (fiberglass/balsa) construction for optimal strength/weight ratio and excellent thermal and sound insulation. A ‘diamond point’ non-slip surface enhances safety on deck.

The hull/deck joint is secured by a bonded and screwed teak bulwark, ensuring a watertight joint and added safety. The cast iron keel is attached by screws and a stainless steel backing plate, treated with anti-corrosion measures before assembly.

Single Rudder with glass composite stock.
