Since 1954, Cascade Yachts has built a long-standing reputation for creating fast, agile sailboats in Portland, Oregon. The strong hull is uniquely constructed with glass matt roving hand squeegeed of resin without the need for any wood in the hull.

The owner commissioned her in 1977. She spent 20 years in Lake Erie. The owner sailed her in the Florida Keys, then refurbished her in 2016 when she sailed her to Lake Superior. (The anti-foul coating was removed as per Great Lakes requirements.) This Federally Documented vessel has spent over 30 years in freshwater.

The galley is fully equipped and ready to sail. It includes:

• All sails, spare parts, fenders, lines, equipment, dishes, cookware
• Double sink
• Gimbaled 3-burner propane stove with oven
• Dometic under-counter refrigerator
• Coleman icebox

The head is to the port with a Raritan head and macerator, a stainless steel sink, and a shower with curtain. The private stateroom is forward. The dinette converts to a double bed, the settee converts to a wide single bed, and there is a wide 'nav' berth aft. The cabin has 8 opening stainless steel ports, all screened with Zarcor peek-a-boo shades for privacy in the marina.

The boat has a large cockpit that seats 8 people, fitted with custom cushions whose piping matches the sail covers. There is an enclosed dodger and a zip-on anchor bimini. Beneath the seats and at the rear are deep lazarettes for storage. The two 10 lb propane tanks are stored in a properly vented cabinet aft of the cockpit. There are also port and starboard holds, winch handles, and a handheld VHF.

Engine and Documentation

This boat is powered by a 30 HP Westerbeke diesel engine. This vessel has a documented binder with an impressive history of records and is a Coast Guard documented boat.
