Designed and built by A.E. Stowe of Shoreham in 1905 to the early 6 metre rule.

She has been in the present family ownership for 50 years in which time she has had 3 major refits, most recently in 2017 after the owner passed away and his family took the boat on and undertook a professional refit to get her back into good sound condition.

She was stripped back inside and out with repairs to the hull and decks where necessary and finished with a complete cosmetic overhaul top to bottom then a new Noble Spars mast was fitted.

She is a very beautiful and interesting yacht, a sailors boat with superb performance in the right conditions and very eye catching looks. She does not pretend to be a spacious family cruising yacht but offers enough comforts below decks for weekends away and regatta racing. A very exciting yacht in nice condition that will grab the headlines everywhere she goes.

Carvel planked in Pitch Pine fastened with bronze screws to sawn oak frames.

Mix of grown oak and steel strap floors.

External lead ballast keel with bronze bolts, last checked in 2012.

Straight laid teak deck overlaid with marine plywood and sheathed in epoxy glass. Scrubbed teak coverboard and toe rail. Bronze deck fittings.

Varnished teak coachroof coamings with bronze portholes. Coachroof deck is straight laid teak over marine plywood.

Self draining cockpit with varnished teak with scrubbed teak thwarts and sole.

Tiller steering with varnished teak tiller and bronze rudder stock.

Gaff cutter rig on a keel stepped mast. Mast new in 2017 by Noble Spars of hollow construction.

Varnished spruce boom and bowsprit. Hollow gaff yard by Noble Spars new in 2017.

Stainless steel standing rigging to external stainless steel chain plates.

Running backstays on tackles with jammers.

Staysail hansk onto inner forestay. Jib on Wickham Martin furling gear at bowsprit end.

All Classic Braid running rigging new in 2017.

2 x Lewmar 16 and 2 x Lewmar 40 non self tailing cockpit sheet winches for headsails.

Mainsail, staysail, jib and topsail all in good condition.

Yanmar 1GM10 9hp diesel installed new in 2004.

Offset 2 blade feathering bronze propeller.

25 litre plastic fuel tank under port cockpit thwart.

2 x 12 volt batteries for domestics and engine starting charged from engine alternator.

2 electric bilge pumps and 1 manual bilge pump.

Cosy interior all refurbished in 2017 with 4 single berths.

Steps down over the engine box with galley to port. Stainless steel sink gravity drains overboard. Fresh water carried in containers. Space for a stove on starboard side.

Main saloon has a settee berth either side with standing headroom under the skylight. All new upholstery 2017.

Centreline passage going forward with large hanging locker to port where the heads used to be fitted.

Forepeak has 2 pipecot berths that lift up when not in use. Forehatch above for easy access.
