1930 (Circa) Dutch Converted Barge for Sale.
Alfa & Omega has been meticulously stripped down to her steel framework and rebuilt. During the rebuild, attention has been given to installing high-quality fixtures and upgrades throughout. Additionally, the aft, forward cabins and the head areas have been enlarged to maximise the compact space. There is extensive documentation for the maintenance that has been carried out over the years.
The cosy aft cabin features a solid oak bed frame, which can be made into a single or double berth and extra storage space has been added.
The wheelhouse offers versatility, with two large doors, a desk and hammock hooks. The removable floor provides easy access to the engine and systems.
The head is complete with a shower, small basin and an electric macerator toilet.
The galley is equipped with a gas 4-ring hob and a butler sink, seamlessly integrated into the open-plan living area with large opening windows and a sofa day-bed. The multi-fuel stove is complete with a back boiler heating the aft cabin and calorifier.
The vessel is best suited for small statured people. She has thrived as a live aboard for the past 17 years on a permanent mooring with the occasional small trip.
The vessel was last out of the water in 2018 for a survey, (Copy available - all recommendations carried out) hull maintenance, over-plating and 2-pack epoxy. The BSS is valid until November 2025.

History
Alfa & Omega was brought by the previous owner to the UK, approximately 17 years ago from Holland. The vessel has been used as a liveaboard in East London ever since. The current owner has had her for 9 years and has completed a full refit in 2022. Very little is known of the vessel's history in Holland. The assumption is that she was once a grain transport that was later converted into a liveaboard.
