Designed by Dave Hollom, known for his involvement with the Americas Cup and the designer of some very successful International Fourteen’s and National Twelves. The boat was built by the present owner in 2013, constructed around a CNC cut jig for accuracy.

The boat has similar performance to a Flying Fifteen and will readily plane off the wind in 12 knots of breeze.

Designed by Dave Hollom, known for his involvement with the Americas Cup and the designer of some very successful International Fourteen’s and National Twelves. The boat was built by the present owner in 2013, constructed around a CNC cut jig for accuracy.

The boat has similar performance to a Flying Fifteen and will readily plane off the wind in 12 knots of breeze. She has been sailed on a reservoir since new and launched each time she is sailed so has not been left afloat and open to the elements.

She comes with a custom made galvanised road trailer and Bison electric outboard, plus 2 suits of sails so she is a complete package and ready to go sailing.

Weight: Approx. 370kg

Strip plank hull using 10mm Western Red Cedar, machined with a concave and convex edge and glued with polyurethane glue. Sheathed in 2 layers of 200g glass cloth.

Finished with 5 coats of Compass Varnish.

Strip plank deck of 8mm Western Red Cedar, sheathed in the same manner as the hull.

All bulkheads and other internal panels made from Robbins marine plywood. All timber sealed with SP320 epoxy.

Built in buoyancy tanks under the aft deck and fore deck.

Lead bulb keel of 200kg made from Cedar with the lead bulb bolted to it and the whole keel sheathed in Kevlar. Keel is raised and lowered with a winch set up in the cockpit on 4 stainless support tubes, which all stows away nicely when sailing.

Rudder drops into a casing through the aft deck.

Rig and sail plan designed by Steve Goacher of Goacher Sails.

Fractional Bermudan sloop rig on a keel stepped carbon fibre mast.

All spars are carbon fibre made by Composite craft Ltd.

Fully battened mainsail and headsail on roller furling system. Reduced power mainsail and smaller jib for stronger winds. Carries both symmetric and asymmetric spinnakers.

All Harken rig fittings with the layout designed by the team at Goacher Sails.

Bison electric outboard fits on the transom with a 12 volt battery.
