Patience I is a Columbia 40, "A REAL YACHT," built in 1966 with a brand new survey from October 2024. Maintained to modern ABYC standards. CALL EMILY/MELANIE.

This boat has successfully cruised to the Bahamas for the last 9 years. With cold drinks and ice, and a sea kindly nature. Boats of this caliber only 20 years newer and not as well built or designed are sold for double the asking price here. This boat is a deal. This is a real 40 foot yacht for less than the price of a new car.

The Columbia 40 was designed to go to sea in comfort without sacrificing performance. Built in a bygone era of heavy fiberglass, by the insanely talented and prolific yacht designer Charles "Charley" Morgan. The cost of the engine alone holds as much weight as the vessel's sturdy ballast! 2018 vertical FRESH WATER COOLED Beta Marine Diesel engine. Lithium battery bank. A very affordable 40-foot boat that has been well maintained and upgraded. Full keel with manual centerboard. The boat is 100% self-sufficient. Freshwater maker. Sails from 1993 serviced 2023 in good condition. Autopilot serviced 2024. And more!

This boat is on easy street and will only require routine maintenance and care. A reliable vessel. Great for first time cruiser's or those wanting to get their feet wet in larger yacht ownership for a much lower start up cost. Survey valued vessel at $40,000. Asking $35,000. ALL offers considered

This boat has class and stature. A timeless design and build that will take you effortlessly over the gulf stream every time. Make an offer. Sadly, the owner can no longer sail. Owned for nine years. All paperwork from entire boat history aboard including original builder's certificate. .

This boat is meant to sail the seas and be back out there, not packed into the boatyard like a sardine. Ready to launch, sea trial, and cruise. Don't hesitate. Your dreams are closer than you think. Perfect for a jaunt over the gulf stream and your intro to cruising, or perfect for the Golden Globe Around the world race.

The choice is yours. Make an offer. CALL EMILY/MELANIE

The factory sales brochure described the design goals, 'A real yacht designed to go to sea in comfort while giving top performance."
