In 2017, 'Valhalla' was lifted and sandblasted to remove layers of old anti-fouling, her steel hull was found to be in excellent condition underneath and new epoxy coating and antifouling was applied.

DAF guaranties this heavy duty version for 25,000 hours running full charge, before having to change any part.

This engine worked for 16,000 hours in total, 10,000 hours on Valhalla at soft use (1200 to 1800T/min).
