Do you like Exquisite Wiring? Do you like Quiet Propulsion? Do you dislike Boat Yoga? Don't hang upside down in the bilge. The diesel auxiliary on this fantastic schooner rises to meet you in the pilothouse! Down in the former engine room, a pair of 90 hp equivalent electric saildrives provide quiet efficient de-coupled propulsion. For more than two hours you can run at cruising speeds on stored electricity alone - utilizing the 50 Kwh lithium propulsion bank. Hybrid auxiliary energy generation provides up to 800 nautical miles of additional motoring range. Extensive solar charges household and hotel loads and shorepower charging systems provide economical and fast range generation. And, the single-handable and adaptable schooner rig harnesses the wind providing for fast comfortable passages with 200 mile averages easily attained. This is an Eco-cruiser in every sense. Do you like Warmth & Comfort? Do you like Safety & Security? Are you looking for a Home on the Sea that can take you anywhere in the world? Singawing was custom designed for world cruising. She was custom built and built tough to encapsulate her crew in safety and comfort. Her hull, deck, and house layups are intentionally over-engineered to take what the sea might bring. Thick foam coring, extensive hull & house Aerogel insulation, insulated & tinted windows, heating and air conditioning, excellent ventilation and pilothouse design make her comfortable below at any latitude. Skippers will take comfort behind her heated interior and exterior heated helms as well as in her intelligently designed, accessible, and maintainable systems, running rigging led via conduit to the helm's electric winch, easily furled sails, renewed standing rigging, welded stainless safety railing, and oversized ground tackle. Crew will enjoy glowing staterooms, expansive decks, a secure central cockpit, the warmth of hydronic heaters (& towel warmers), warm interior woodworking and paneling, and the output of a very sensible working galley. Do you like Adventure? Do you like easy-to-maintain reliable systems? Do you dislike Extensive Refit? Buy a boat that is completely and thoughtfully set-up! I have known Singawing and her Seller for three decades. He grew up on a sailboat and has become one of the top minds in electric propulsion. He chose this hull wisely and transformed Singawing from a world cruiser into an Eco-Cruising Global Adventure Vessel with few equals. Singawing was extensively refitnot just to refresh her - but to advance her. In addition to a state-of-the-art hybrid propulsion system, she received new lithium batteries (both propulsion & house), complete re-wiring, additional solar capacity, a tough 2-part Awlgrip paint job, new decks, new hatches, new deck hardware, welded safety railings, complete re-plumbing, new tanks, standing rigging , new buried running rigging, new furling systems for main and headsails, an electric helm winch, over-sized ground tackle, RADAR, 12" touch screen chartplotter, digital wind instruments, VHF radios, GPS, dual depth-sounders, autopilot, cell & wifi boosters, gas-filled double-pane windows, LED lighting, cedar-lined closets, tongue & groove cabin overheads, new cushions, copious refrigeration, an ice-maker, and washer & dryer.
