Nellie, built in 1979 hull number 237 is reluctantly on the market. She has been meticulously maintained with her owner constantly adding to and upgrading her spec. From the new 16 hp Beta Engine in 2020 to a major refit in 2021 which included new sails, extended bow sprit, halyards, topping lift, upholstery ... the list goes on.
She sports an extended bow sprit to accommodate the new powerful genoa plus she is also rigged for the cruising folk to sail single handed. Nellie is no slouch, she raced in the 90th Round the Island Race and won the Discovery Trophy (Old Gaffers Division 2).
With Nellie you enjoy the best of both worlds. A peaceful evening cruise with dinner aboard at anchor then eat them for breakfast at the start line in the morning!!
