S/v Lady Athena Overview

S/v Lady Athena is now on the market! The 2004 Fountaine Pajot Belize 43 was designed by architect Olivier Flahault and built by Fountaine Pajot in France. They were 130 vessels built from 2000 to 2007. These beautiful, classy vessels were designed for blue-water cruising and living aboard. The Belize 43 is an extremely efficient sailing catamaran and one of the fastest in her class. It is well known for its superior sailing capabilities in all weather, ease of handling and unmatched cruising comfort.

Current Ownership

S/v Lady Athena was bought by the current owners in 2014 in Martinique. They have had 10 years of enjoying the cruising life and enjoyed their time aboard, always comfortable and totally self-contained with ongoing regular maintenance. This vessel is truly set up to be off grid so there is no shore power inlet needed. It’s equipped with:

• 5 solar panels totaling 1200 watts
• Truper 1200-watt inverter (access to both 220v and 110v simultaneously)
• Wind generator
• 4 gel batteries (1200-amp hours total)
• Water maker providing 200 liter/hr. of fresh water

• Water tanks with a total capacity of 600 liters in 2 tanks

   

Interior Features

On the interior, s/v Lady Athena is modern, comfortable and well laid out. She has a massive amount of space and storage capacity. The salon is spacious with plenty of room for guests. The vessel includes:

• 2 showers aboard and another 2 showers in the cockpit area

This vessel is powered by two well maintained 2004 Yanmar 3JH4 diesel engines with a 300-liter fuel tank capacity. All sails are in good condition and a stack pack is included. There are 7 self-tailing winches for easy handling. For navigation needs, she is equipped with:
