DESCRIPTION

I am selling our 1980 GulfStar 44 MY. The boat is powered by twin Perkins T6354 engines with 2956 Hours on them. The generator is an Onan/Cummins 15K, no hour meter but starts, runs and powers the boat very well. This boat would make a great live aboard or loop boat and is ready to go. I have owned the boat for about 7 Years now. We currently live on the boat for about 6 months of the year. Below I will outline the various updates that I have done while I have owned the boat. I have probably missed some, but this will give you an idea. I don't have specific dates on anything, but if requested I am sure I could find receipts, etc.. If needed. We are asking $105,000 or best reasonable offer. You will have a tough time finding a similar boat in a turnkey condition like this one. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out. 1. Engine/Generator/Running gear updates a. New wet exhaust elbows on both engines b. New low pressure lift pumps on both engines c. Seal kit in high pressure pumps on both engines d. New rear seals in transmissions on both engines e. Replaced old packing boxes with new Lasdrop dripless shaft seals on both engines f. Both rudder shaft seals repacked with high performance packing material g. New Cutlass bearings both sides h. Rebuilt starter and soleniod on generator i. Replaced manual lift pump with electric on generator 2. Interior updates a. PVC vinyl plank flooring b. Retinted cabin windows c. Resealed all cabin windows d. Port lights - new seals, glass, and tint e. Replaced split AC units with two Marineaire package units a. Installed additional water pump so that each AC unit has it's own pump and the pump only runs when each compressor is on. f. New fly bridge reclining helm chair with foot rest 3. Electronic updates a. Nearly 800 AH house battery bank with sealed lead acid telecom batteries a. New 4500 watt pure sine inverter b. Wired directly into 30 amp side of panel with auto switching sensors c. Windlass battery replaced with same sealed battery as above d. Two new 3 bank battery chargers b. Installed new VHF radios and both helms c. Replaced almost all lighting with Led both interior and navigation d. Installed Fusion head unit and amplifier with 8 speaker system and two 10 inch sub woofers. 3 zones covering the salon, bow, fly bridge, and aft patio areas. 4. Exterior updates a. Flybridge and sun deck carpeting b. Rebuilt davit a. Upgraded standpipe b. Rebuilt winch motor c. Repainted d. Replaced cable with high strength rope c. New rear/sun deck eisenglass d. Custom made hard top with eisenglass enclosure e. Custom made extended swim platform f. New 4 step swim ladder with arm rails 5. Pumps and holding tank updates a. Both toilet macerator pumps replaced b. Installed charcoal filter on holding tank vent line c. Added LED indicator lights to holding tank d. Resealed both helm steering pumps e. Fresh water pump replaced f. Rebuilt both shower sump pumps, replaced motor on one g. Replaced diaphragm bilge pump with Rule 1500 a. Added additional backup Rule 1500 b. Routed both pumps to come out above the water line
