TOCCATA was supplied new to her current owner in the spring of 2008. She has a thoughtful inventory of extras that leaves little for her next owner to add. The current owners have loved her and maintained her making TOCATTA and genuine Hallberg-Rassy 342 that should be of interest to anybody looking for a fun aft -cockpit cruiser.
The Hallberg-Rassy 342 remains a popular size and model from the highly regarded Swedish boat builder. She embodies a rare mix of quality, comfort, safety and performance. Easily managed by two crew all control lines are led aft to the protected cockpit where the toughened glass windscreen gives the helm and crew a clear view of the sea ahead.
Designed by German Frers, her fractional rig and slab-reefing mains sail give good performance on all points of sale and is optimised for light wind performance. Single line reefing allows for safe and rapid sail reduction from the cockpit without compromising sail shape. When not in use the sail can be stowed neatly in its Stack Pack on the boom.
All standing rigging was re-newed in Sept 2024.
Below decks, wide and shallow companionway steps lead to a functional, spacious and light interior with first class joinery and beautiful mahogany wood. The forward facing chart table is at the centre of the boat offering easy communication to the cockpit. Likewise the galley opposite can be used without obstruction the passage of other crew through the boat and offer plenty of storage, gimballed cooker, double sinks and a spacious fridge/freezer.
The heads compartment is ideally located on at the base of the companionway stairs includes shower with sump and a holding tank.

Interior finished in mahogany with two-component matt silk varnish. Interior locker doors with rounded edges. Wooden inner frames for the skylights. Deluxe upholstery in blue.
