DESCRIPTION

The Hallberg-Rassy 36 was the second Frers designed in Hallberg-Rassys range of cruising yachts and represents a big step up in terms of sailing performance on all points of sail but she retains the trademark quality associated with the world-renowned boat builder.

ARIVÉ was delivered to her original owners in the Netherlands and has been updated with a rubbing stake to the hull topsides and a bathing platform on the traditional transom stern both items that became standard features of the later models.

Accommodation

Fitted out in traditional Hallberg-Rassy style. Mahogany woodwork throughout, Blue upholstery. Teak flooring with holly inlay. New carpets fitted 2020. New curtains fitted to all ports and skylights 2020. Mahogany slats behind all joinery and soft furnishing to give good ventilation, all boards under berth cushions have ventilation holes to minimise condensation and mildew.
Forecabin: Double berth with infill cushion. Storage below for sails, etc. Generous storage with shelving and lockers above and at each side of berth. Hanging locker and small dresser area. Opening skylight and reading lights.
Heads/Shower compartment: Teak shower grating, porcelain wash basin with mixer tap and shower attachment. Pressurised hot and cold water. 12v Shower waste pump. Pump action seatoilet. Stainless steel holding tank. Lockers behind head and under wash basin. Portlight and opening skylight.
Main saloon: L-shaped settee berth to port, straight berth to starboard. Storage behind settee backrests and in lockers above. Additional storage under starboard berth. Drop-leaf table with bottle storage in opening centre section. Brass reading lights, opening skylight and portlights.
Galley: Double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water and extra fresh water foot pump. Frigoboat refrigeration unit in 110 litre coolbox. 2 burner gas cooker with oven. Ample storage above and below work surfaces and under companionway steps.
Chart Table: Storage inside for charts, etc, with additional drawers for navigation equipment, tools, etc. Chart table light. Bookshelf. Sound insulated engine room opposite with double door access for maintenance. Access to bilge pump in companionway.
Aft Cabin: Double berth to starboard, single berth to port. Storage below and additional lockers above each side of berth. Portlights and opening skylight. Bookshelf.

Deck Equipment

Teak deck and cockpit recaulked in 2022 10mm teak. Caprailrail, hand rails and all other woodwork on deck in solid teak. Stemhead fitting with integral anchor roller and 20KG Rocna, Lewmar electric anchor windlass with footswitches on foredeck. galvanized chain in self-draining chain locker. Mooring cleats forward, aft and midships. 4 skylights and 9 port holes, four of which opening. 2 Dorade ventilators in saloon. One Electrolux ventilator forward and one in head. Deck fillers with screw caps for water and diesel. On starboard side of cockpit is a self-draining locker for gas bottles. Lazarette locker for warps, etc. On starboard side is a large cockpit locker. Guard rails. Pulpit and pushpit, are all stainless steel. International navigation lights with combined anchor light and tricolour at masthead. Deck flood light. Ensign, staff and fitting. Boarding ladder.  Genoa tracks with blocks from Lewmar. Rutgerson mainsheet track behind cockpit. Sheet winches Lewmar 46 CST self tailing.  Spinnaker block fittings. Two scuppers on each sidedeck. Steering pedestal in cockpit with single lever engine/gearbox control. Steering compass with light. Special stowage slot in locker for cockpit table and washboards. Stainless steel steering wheel. Engine instrument panel with engine start on starboard side of steering position. Washboards in solid teak,  On both sides of sliding hatch are useful teak chart tables with fiddle rails. Above sliding hatch is space for instruments. The windscreen is fixed and is made of tempered glass. The middle section opens to allow good air circulation in warmer climates. Handholds in the side panels. The sprayhood can be folded forward and protected by a canvas cover. Teak grating in forward section of cockpit with two self draining 32 mm scuppers.
