The Hallberg-Rassy 36 is one of the most popular models by the renowned Swedish boat builder and it is the most popular model delivered in the UK, the Frers hull design added speed and agility to a classic Hallberg-Rassy concept creating a yacht that was perfect for family cruising but a very credible offshore passage maker.
SHANDRANI is a late MKII model built in 1998 and delivered to her current owner by Transworld Yachts in 2010. Since then, she has cruised channel ports and been conscientiously maintained under the supervision of her owner. She comes ashore at Chichester every year and, having had recent renewals I would say she is an above-average yacht and will be interesting to a broad sector of the market, so I recommend an early viewing.
All interior joinery is finished in mahogany with a satin varnish. A laminated mahogany compression post attached to the main bulkhead takes the loads of the deck-stepped mast avoiding cold, noise and water entering the yacht through a keel-stepped mast. Berths and seats are covered in blue fabric, new in 2010. Teak floor with inlaid holly stripes, finished in semi-matt varnish and carpeted in beige. there are Inspection openings in the floor wherever required.
Deckheads forward and aft have ivory-coloured vinyl headlining, saloon ceiling has ivory vinyl panelling with decorative mahogany stripes. Beige curtains on all portholes and skylights. Ample stowage in all areas of the boat. Also easily accessible stowage under the berth and settee especially for larger items like sail bags, etc. All larger cupboard doors are louvred and all boards under berth cushions have ventilation holes. Mahogany slats against the hull create an air barrier providing ventilation between the hull and soft furnishings. The hull is insulated with a sandwich of closed-cell PVC foam (Divinycell) against heat and cold.

Blaupunkt stereo radio/CD player with speakers in the main saloon and Sea & Symphony speakers in the cockpit. Wempe clock, barometer and comfort meter in chrome. Headroom 1.91m in the saloon.
