The J Boats J/160 is a 53-foot sailing masterpiece born from the collaboration of J/Boats and TPI Composites. Boasting advanced composite construction and a low centre of gravity, the J/160 offers efficiency with reduced sail needs, lower winch loads, and easy manageability akin to a 42-footer.
J/160 ‘Jeu d’Espirit’ was launched in 2000 and has truly lived up to the high performance cruising standard she was designed for.
‘Jeu d’Espirit’ has been very well maintained and equipped for long distance passages. With Atlantic crossings, med sailing and Fastnet’s under her belt, she comes with everything you need to spend plenty of time on board, and to travel wherever you choose! With a great sail wardrobe, classic J Boats retractable bow sprit and recently replaced standing rigging ‘Jeu d’Espirit’ is in ready to sail condition.
Internally the J/160 provides a spacious and comfortable accommodation with a high quality finish. Comfort on board is further given by the installation of a generator, water maker, air conditioning, and heating. With a large J-shaped galley giving ample prep, storage and cooking space as well as large fridge/chilled spaces for great provisioning. And 3 double cabins with additional settee berths, a large C-seating area and dedicated chart table/ nav station the whole crew can sail and stay in comfort.
Currently afloat in Beaulieu, Southampton. For more information and to arrange a viewing please contact Key Yachting.
