AVALON has the "Performance Race Optimized" (PRO) package, which includes a longer bow sprit, a full inventory of North 3Di sails, B&G H5000 Offshore instruments and autopilot, carbon mast and boom, and upgraded deck gear and running rigging. All excess weight has been removed from the boat, and the bottom has been race prepped. AVALON had a successful season, including winning the Ida Lewis Distance Race by one hour and twenty minutes on corrected time!
